\n\t\t\t\t\tThe 33-year-old actress took to her social media platforms to share the milestone, posting a photo of herself in Navy uniform and expressing gratitude to God, her family, and her supporters.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cLast week, I graduated from U.S. Navy boot camp as a Sailor and took the oath as a citizen of the United States,\u201d she wrote.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cNigeria raised me, America challenged me, and I stand today stronger and more determined than ever.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cThank you to everyone who believed in me. This is just the beginning. In honour of my late father \u2013 Naval Cdr. Asido Bassey Effah.\u201d\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\tBassey had previously revealed that she changed her name after a divine spiritual experience.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\tAccording to her, the name Belinda, which means \u201cbeautiful serpent\u201d, was replaced with Grace following what she described as a God-given transformation.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\t\u201cGod changed my name to Grace after a divine encounter,\u201d she said.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
