However, his lawyers insist that he flew business class, a fact they say is easily verifiable.<\/p>\n \u201cOn Thursday, the 20th day of March 2025, Mr. Kwabena Adu-Boahene arrived at Kotoka International Airport on a British Airways flight from the United Kingdom. It is totally false that he flew economy class to disguise himself as the Attorney-General was strenuously projecting it to be. Our client was in the business class, an easily verifiable fact,\u201d the lawyers asserted.<\/p>\n Undemocratic tactics and public trial condemned<\/b><\/p>\n Further lambasting the AG, the lawyers accused him of acting in an undemocratic manner by making public pronouncements on an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Attorney-General is behaving like a press prosecutor rather than a legal professional. Instead of gathering evidence to prosecute in a court of law, he is instigating the public against our clients through propaganda. This is an abuse of his office and an attack on democratic principles,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n The lawyers argued that a fair judicial process demands that suspects be tried in court, not in the media.
