Legendary Fuji musician, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere, has gifted a house to his dedicated band members, Sharafa Salawudeen, to mark his 60th birthday on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The event, held at the Anchor Event Center in Agidingbi, Lagos, also saw Obesere fulfilled his pledge to gift plots of land now valued at over N5 million each to his entire band.<\/p>\n
This generous gesture was part of his promise to reward his band members, which he had made two years ago.<\/p>\n
In his speech, Obesere expressed joy in fulfilling this promise.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a promise I made two years ago, and I\u2019m overjoyed to fulfill it today.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe land was worth N1 million then, but now it\u2019s valued at over N5 million. My band members are more than a team, they are my family.<\/p>\n
\u201cSharafa Salawudeen, in particular, has been with me through thick and thin, and this house is my way of showing my appreciation for his loyalty,\u201d the Fuji musician said.<\/p>\n
