The Executive Council of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, led by its President, Ms. Esther A. N. Cobbah, paid a courtesy call on President John Dramani Mahama on January 22, 2025.<\/p>\n

The meeting reinforced IPR Ghana’s commitment to ethical communication and its 50th-anniversary theme, “Public Relations for Value Creation.”<\/p>\n

As a proud Fellow of the Institute, President Mahama reaffirmed his belief in the power of communication to shape national development.<\/p>\n

He emphasized the importance of media freedom, the modernization of the Information Services Department (ISD), and upgrading the Ghana News Agency (GNA) to meet contemporary standards.<\/p>\n

During the engagement, the President pledged his support for securing a permanent office for IPR Ghana and expressed his backing for the upcoming International Public Relations Association (IPRA) Global Gala, scheduled for October 2025.<\/p>\n

The visit underscored the role of strategic communication in nation-building and highlighted the collaborative efforts between IPR Ghana and key stakeholders in advancing professional public relations practice in the country.<\/p>\n
