The Member of Parliament of Ketu South, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has been approved as the substantive Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts by parliament today, January 23, 2025. <\/p>\n

Dzifa Gomashie appeared before the Parliamentary Appointments Committee on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, for vetting, to determine her confirmation as the substantive Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts. <\/p>\n

She was nominated for the position on January 16, 2025, in a statement signed by the Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu. <\/p>\n

Having served as Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture under the Mahama administration from 2013 to 2017, Dzifa Gomashie is also a two-term Member of Parliament for the Ketu South Constituency, where she has championed development and community empowerment initiatives. <\/p>\n

Abla Dzifa Gomashie holds an MPhil in African Studies from the Institute of African Studies. <\/p>\n

She earned a diploma in Theatre Arts and a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Management from the University of Ghana. <\/p>\n
