Kofi Adams, the Minister-designate of Sports and Recreation, has been talking about his connections with Ghana sports and has revealed that he is a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.<\/p>\n The Member of Parliament for the Buem Constituency told Happy FM that he is a Porcupine Warrior and aligns with the ethos and beliefs of the club.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko,\u201d he said on Happy FM.<\/p>\n Kofi Adams also opened up on his plan for the sports industry, which will be anchored on unity and transformation.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the responsibility is entrusted to me, I will do my best and pray for God\u2019s blessing to achieve success. Every leader must be prepared to face challenges. My focus will be on uniting fans and fostering a positive atmosphere for sports,\u201d Adams stated.<\/p>\n He added, \u201cIt\u2019s an opportunity for me to transform the love people have for football into something meaningful. Right now, they love the game, but we\u2019ve failed to channel that passion into anything productive.\u201d<\/p>\n Adams also urged the media to actively engage with football fans, encouraging them to share their concerns about the current state of sports in the country.<\/p>\n He highlighted the importance of collaboration between fans, the media, and club administrators to ensure a collective effort to revive Ghanaian sports.<\/p>\n \u201cThe media must ask fans if they\u2019re satisfied with the state of our sports. Otherwise, we\u2019ll be left with only European sports while ours fades away. We need to generate positive energy. And to the managers of these clubs, do you want to wait until there\u2019s nothing left? Rivalries and divisions have caused the decline of sports in this country.
