A group of 23 Constituency Organisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Central Region has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing Ekow Payin Eduamoah as the Central Regional Minister.<\/p>\n In a statement, the organisers commended Eduamoah for his dedication and service to the party at various levels. They highlighted his contributions as a Branch Executive, Constituency Organizer, two-term Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa East, and the current Central Regional Vice Chairman of the NDC.<\/p>\n \u201cAs field marshals, we feel honored and humbled that President Mahama continues to recognize and reward hardworking party executives with key leadership positions,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n The statement was jointly signed by Joseph Kojo Mensah (Ajumako Enyan Essiam), Raymond Armah Narh (CR Dean of Organizers), and Nanka-Bruce (Cape Coast South).<\/p>\n The group expressed confidence in Eduamoah\u2019s ability to foster unity in the region and effectively lobby for the region\u2019s fair share of national development projects.<\/p>\n The organisers outlined key infrastructural projects they expect the new minister to prioritize and revive, including:<\/p>\n Komenda Sugar Factory \u2013 To boost employment and the sugar industry.<\/p>\n Fisheries University at Anomabo \u2013 To enhance education and skill development in the fisheries sector.<\/p>\n Fishing Processing Plant at Elmina \u2013 The second largest in West Africa, which remains underutilized.<\/p>\n Nursing and Teacher Training Colleges at Ajumako Biseasi \u2013 To expand access to tertiary education in the region.<\/p>\n The organizers also applauded the appointments of other key figures from the Central Region, including:<\/p>\n Hon.
