Former Black Stars player Charles Taylor has claimed that John Paintsil would perform significantly better than Otto Addo as the Black Stars head coach. <\/p>\n Taylor argues that player management, rather than tactical expertise, is the most crucial factor in winning games.<\/p>\n Speaking on Angel TV, he suggested that if Otto Addo were unavailable, Paintsil would be more effective in motivating the players.<\/p>\n “John Paintsil can do the job better than Otto Addo if he is put in charge. Coaching isn’t just about a certain level of expertise, it\u2019s about how you engage with the players, and that is key to winning games,” Taylor stated.<\/p>\n He continued, “It\u2019s not just about the players you invite; otherwise, we would be winning our games. I’m not saying Paintsil is the perfect candidate, but in Otto\u2019s absence, he could do a better job by motivating the players to beat teams that Otto Addo has struggled against.”<\/p>\n John Paintsil was appointed in March 2024 as an assistant coach under Otto Addo\u2019s technical team.
