Samuel Aboabire, a member of the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association, holds that the failure of the Black Stars to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations should be blamed more on the players than anyone else.<\/p>\n Speaking on Amansan TV, Aboabire noted that the Black Stars are struggling because the players are unable to replicate their club form at the national team level.<\/p>\n He noted that while the players show passion and consistency for their clubs, their performance for the country is a pale shadow of that.<\/p>\n Aboabire noted that Antoine Semenyo has been creating and scoring goals for Bournemouth, but the same cannot be said of him in the Black Stars.<\/p>\n “Semenyo is scoring consistently for Bournemouth, yet we don’t see the same productivity when he plays for the Black Stars.
