Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has shared his thoughts on his preferred position on the pitch, revealing that he\u2019s comfortable in any forward role.<\/p>\n

Throughout his career, the 25-year-old has been utilised on both wings and occasionally as a centre forward.<\/p>\n

His recent deployment on the left wing for the Ghana national team, however, sparked some debate, with head coach Otto Addo facing criticism for the decision.<\/p>\n

Despite the discussions, Semenyo is content with playing anywhere across the forward line. \u201cSeriously, I feel like I\u2019m comfortable playing in any role across the forward positions,\u201d he said in an interview with Stadium Astro.<\/p>\n

He attributes his versatility to his ability to use both feet, adding, \u201cI\u2019m comfortable playing whether on the left, right or in the middle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Looking ahead, Semenyo\u2019s ultimate goal is to play as a number 9. \u201cIn my head, the end goal is to be a number 9,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe in the years to come when I\u2019ve built the experience, I\u2019ll eventually transition into that, but I\u2019m not too hung up on that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Semenyo concluded, \u201cIf I end my career playing on either wing, I wouldn\u2019t complain.\u201d<\/p>\n

The forward has enjoyed a productive season at Bournemouth, scoring five goals and providing two assists from wide positions in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
