In 2014, he became the majority shareholder of Kpando Hearts of Lions Football Club, owning over 70% of the shares.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Abbey was voted a member of the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee.<\/p>\n<p>He has also chaired the Referees Appointment Committee and the Black Meteors Management Committee.<\/p>\n<p>He retired as host of Metro TV&#8217;s Good Morning Ghana program in December 2024. <\/p>\n<p><b>Three reasons Randy Abbey might be appointed as the sports minister<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>1.
