Commitment to Economic Growth and Job Creation<\/b><\/p>\n Mahama reiterated his focus on implementing policies aimed at revitalising the economy, creating jobs, and ensuring sustained growth. <\/p>\n He highlighted the importance of a strong, inclusive economy driven by private sector participation.<\/p>\n “My administration is committed to implementing our 24-hour economy policy\u2014expanding job opportunities and transforming Ghana into an export-driven economy. Together, we will create an environment that fosters entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development, ensuring that our youth can achieve their dreams right here at home,” he said.<\/p>\n 2. Addressing Corruption and Governance Reforms<\/b><\/p>\n He pledged to tackle corruption head-on and ensure transparency and accountability within the government. <\/p>\n The President-elect expressed his commitment to strengthening institutions and promoting good governance.<\/p>\n “My vision for our great nation includes a lean, efficient government that is responsive to your aspirations as proud Ghanaians. We will work tirelessly to correct the outgoing administration’s many wrongs, tackle corruption with dogged determination, and reduce excessive government expenditures. Empowerment of the Youth<\/b><\/p>\n A major part of his message was centered on empowering Ghana\u2019s youth, stressing the need for opportunities in education, skills development, and entrepreneurship to harness their potential for the nation\u2019s development.<\/p>\n “To the youth, you are our most valuable asset. Your energy, creativity, and passion are vital to our future success. I urge you to believe in yourselves and in the endless possibilities that lie ahead. Your participation will be crucial as we work together to cultivate a thriving economy and forge a brighter future for all,” he stated.<\/p>\n 4. Support for Businesses and Entrepreneurs<\/b><\/p>\n Mahama also promised to remove barriers and create an enabling environment for businesses, ensuring access to resources, credit, and infrastructure that would foster private sector growth.<\/p>\n “To business owners and entrepreneurs, I want to assure you that my administration will support your efforts to create jobs and wealth. We are committed to removing barriers, simplifying processes, and providing the necessary resources to empower you to build and expand your businesses,” he said.<\/p>\n 5.
