Michael Mensah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Central Regional First Vice Chairman, has described the party’s influence in the region as significantly weakened, emphasizing the urgent need for internal restructuring to enable the NPP to “bounce back stronger.”
Mr. Mensah called the party’s performance in the 2024 general elections in the Central Region “abysmal,” highlighting the loss of several key parliamentary seats to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
