Dr Mahamudu Bawumia believes that he is better placed to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to capture power.
He says without him as a choice, the New Patriotic Party may struggle to capture power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who has been campaigning in the Greater Accra Region ahead of the January 31, 2026, primaries, said, “The chart is set, so let’s not change our candidate going intob the 2028 election.
