Port Harcourt artistes built foundation of Afrobeats – Duncan Mighty claims

Singer, Duncan Mighty has claimed that him and other artists from Port Harcourt layed the foundation for today’s Afrobeats.

Speaking in a recent interview with Hip TV, Duncan Mighty explained that artists from Port Harcourt such as himself, Timaya, Burna Boy and Omah Lay have influenced the Afrobeats scene in a way that the slags and sounds of the city have been incorporated into the genre.
