The shortlists for the FIFA Marta Award and the FIFA Puskás Award have today been revealed, with voting under way to determine which goals will be crowned as the most outstanding at The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2025.
The two prestigious awards celebrate the best goals scored between 11 August 2024 and 2 August 2025 (inclusive), with fans and experts to decide who should take home the women’s and men’s prizes.
The lists of nominated goals, which were compiled by FIFA in conjunction with football stakeholders, are now available to view and vote on at FIFA.com.
As was the case last year, the winners of the two awards will be determined by an equal 50% split between fan votes and those cast by a panel of FIFA Legends.
Fans can vote by registering on FIFA.com. Once they have registered, they will be able to rank the three best goals, with five points allocated to their first choice, three points to their second choice and one point to their third choice. Full details of the voting procedure can be found in the Rules of Allocation.
This announcement follows last week’s call to vote for The Best FIFA Women’s Player, The Best FIFA Women’s Coach, The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper, The Best FIFA Men’s Player, The Best FIFA Men’s Coach and The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper.
Voting for The Best FIFA Women’s 11 and The Best FIFA Men’s 11 is now open.
In addition, the FIFA Fan Award will be bestowed upon an individual or group that has gone above and beyond to show their love and passion for the game, and the FIFA Fair Play Award will recognise an outstanding act of sporting goodwill.
