Madam Arthur underscored the strategic role the College would play in building local expertise to support sustainable fisheries management, aquaculture development, and value chain improvement.
She added that the institution would offer specialised programmes in marine science, aquaculture technology, post-harvest fisheries, and coastal resource management.
She revealed that a team which worked on the curriculum for the College had submitted the document to the Ministry for review and approval.
