The event was moved from December 26 to to December 24
Stonebwoy’s highly anticipated BHIM Festival concert has been rescheduled from December 26 to December 24, 2025, according to an official statement issued by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) on November 7, 2025.
The GTA confirmed its full support for BHIM Music Group Limited, the organisers of the event, which will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium.
GTA Chief Executive Officer, Maame Efua Houadjeto, said the collaboration underscores the Authority’s commitment to promoting Ghana’s creative arts and entertainment sectors as major contributors to tourism growth.
“This support reflects our dedication to amplifying the creative arts as a major pillar of tourism. The December in GH initiative continues to create opportunities that unite Ghanaians and attract visitors to experience our culture, music, and hospitality,” she noted.
The Authority reaffirmed its readiness to work closely with creative industry stakeholders to deliver unforgettable experiences under the December in GH brand, which draws thousands of visitors annually.

BHIMFest vs BSE
The rescheduling comes in the wake of a public disagreement between BHIM Music Group and the organisers of the Black Star Experience (BSE), a government-backed celebration of Ghanaian identity and culture set for December.
The BSE, coordinated by famed musician and cultural advocate Rex Omar, had originally picked December 26 for its event.
However, media reports noted that the date selection appeared to overlap with Stonebwoy’s BHIMFest, leading some people on social media to speculate that it was an attempt at sabotage.
In an interview, however, Rex Omar refuted the allegations, saying he was unaware of Stonebwoy’s date when BSE’s date was locked in.
