Accra, Nov 10, GNA – President John Dramani Mahama has described former United States Vice President Dick Cheney as an outstanding statesman and a distinguished public servant.
The former US Vice President died on November 3, at the age of 84.
In a tribute signed on behalf of the Government and People of Ghana by Mr Emmanuel Victor Smith, Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, President Mahama said the United States had lost a remarkable leader who played a pivotal role in key moments of modern history that continue to shape global affairs.
