Road works will begin soon

Member of Parliament for Yapei Kusawgu and Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Abdulai Jinapor, has reiterated his commitment to accelerating development in his constituency, with a firm assurance that road construction in the Tuluwe Traditional Area will begin shortly.

Addressing residents during a community engagement meeting, Mr. Jinapor said government processes to kick-start the project are far advanced, and constituents should expect work to commence soon.

“I want to assure the good people of Tuluwe and the entire constituency that work on our roads will begin very soon. The necessary approvals and preparations are far advanced, and we are determined to deliver,” he said.

The MP used the meeting to update residents on ongoing and upcoming interventions in infrastructure, education, and social amenities, noting that these projects form part of a broader effort to uplift living standards across the constituency.

Mr. Jinapor stressed the importance of collaboration with traditional leaders and local stakeholders, explaining that development must be guided by the needs and priorities of the people.

“Together with our chiefs, elders, and youth, we will continue to build a better, more prosperous Yapei Kusawgu,” he added.

The gathering formed part of his continuous community engagement tour, designed to strengthen dialogue with constituents and ensure that governance remains responsive to local concerns.
