“We respect Medeama but we play with fire”, Aduana Stars coach Cioba Aristica warns

Aduana Stars FC seems riding on a first class road, after securing a win over Eleven Wonders FC last week. They come face to face with Medeama SC who have shown resilience in clinching the league title.

The encounter scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the NAB 1 park, has seen head coach of Aduana Stars Cioba Aristica speaking. The fire boys currently sit summit of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier league with 18 points heading into week 9.

Their form compared to Medeama SC looks good but not solid to the latter. The Mauves and Yellow outfit have won 5, drawn 2 and lost once this campaign whiles Aduana Stars has 6 victories and two defeats.

Coach Cioba Aristica admit Medeama SC has good form but his outfit are in to pick all three maximum points to stay top. Disclosing that, sitting at the top is not a destination for his team but a responsibility.

“We respect their form and position, but we are Aduana”

“Top of the league is not a destination, it is a responsibility. We must share hunger, discipline and desire again on Saturday”

“We play with fire, we play for our people, and we play to win”, he told Aduana media.

Medeama SC sit second to Aduana Stars FC with 17 points and a point will be enough to mount pressure on them for the title race.
