A video has gone viral on social media following the arrest of about 320 individuals allegedly involved in human trafficking and employment scams.

The video, which has been trending online, shows the suspects lying on the floor after they were apprehended by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) Anti-Human Trafficking Unit.

Reports gathered by GhanaWeb indicate that the suspects are between the ages of 17 and 35 years.

In a statement issued by EOCO on November 6, 2025, the agency explained that the operation was carried out in two locations in Kumasi.

According to EOCO, 25 persons involved in the raid are considered potential suspects, while the remaining 295 individuals are believed to be victims of human trafficking and employment scams perpetrated under the guise of QNET.

“Initial assessment indicates that 25 of the 320 individuals are potential suspects, while the remaining 295 are deemed to be victims of human trafficking and employment scams perpetrated under the guise of QNET,” the statement read.
