“When I was asked if I wanted a ministerial position in the government, I declined. I realised that my heart is in the leadership of Parliament. I have served as a Minister of State before, but I have come to understand that my true passion is for parliamentary work. Being in Parliament is all about serving your constituents, and that’s where I find fulfillment,” she stated.
According to her, parliamentary leadership offers her the opportunity to directly engage with the people she represents and make meaningful contributions to national development through legislations and oversight.
