The Police have issued a statement on a suspected human trafficking syndicate following the rescue of a 15-year-old Nigerian girl who was trafficked from Nigeria to Ghana for sexual exploitation.
According to the statement from the Western Central Regional Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) in Tarkwa, officers arrested 25-year-old Joy Ogbonna, a Nigerian national, at Aboso near Tarkwa on Monday, November 3, 2025, in connection with the case.
