Heart of Lions midfielder Samuel Boamah Quansah has been named in the Ghana Premier League Team of the Week (Matchweek 7) following his standout performance in his side’s 3-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars.

The dynamic midfielder was at the heart of everything for the Kpando-based side, dictating the tempo and orchestrating play from midfield.

Quansah completed 81 minutes of dominant football, capping his impressive display with a well-timed assist, his third of the season.

His consistent performances have been a key factor in Heart of Lions’ bright start to the campaign. The team currently sits third on the league table with 14 points from seven games, with Quansah starting in every single match so far.

In the assist rankings, the 23-year-old playmaker now sits second, just one behind Solomon Agyei of FC Samartex 1996, who leads with four.

Quansah’s ability to combine defensive discipline with creative flair has made him one of the most influential midfielders in the league’s early weeks.

Named in Fatau Dauda’s Team of the Week for the second time this season, his first coming on Matchday 3, Samuel Boamah Quansah earned his place alongside some of the league’s standout performers, including Aduana FC’s Maxwell Arthur and Goldstars’ Samuel Attah Kumi.

His recognition reflects not only his technical quality but also his growing leadership within the Heart of Lions setup.

With form and confidence on his side, Samuel Boamah Quansah is emerging as a key figure in Heart of Lions’ push for the top, proving once again that he’s one of the league’s most reliable and creative midfielders this season.
