Sponsors of the maiden Northern Business FairĀ have expressed satisfaction with the impressive turnout of exhibitors and patrons at the event at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.
The fair, organised by Channel One TV and Citi FM, has drawn strong participation from businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators across the northern regions, with many exhibitors describing the event as both commercially rewarding and strategically beneficial.
Senior Export Development Officer at the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), Joana Abombisa, described the collaboration with Channel One TV and Citi FM as āa valuable opportunityā to promote Made-in-Ghana products on a larger stage.
She revealed that GEPA sponsored about twenty exhibitors to participate in the fair, underscoring the Authorityās continued support for Ghanaian exporters and producers.
āWe are grateful for you to come all the way from Accra to Tamale here, to showcase our local products to the world. We are happy and grateful and the people are happy. We pray youāll be here every year,ā she said.
Regional Manager of the Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA), Bukari Mohammed, hailed the initiative as a ārare opportunityā for local businesses to gain exposure and expand their market reach.

He praised Channel One TV and Citi FM for their consistent record of impactful programmes and reaffirmed GEAās commitment to future partnerships.
āFor us at the Ghana Enterprises Agency, one of our core mandates is access to marketāto be able to provide opportunities for producers to reach both local and international markets. We would wish that programmes like this are organised annually,ā he noted.

Branch Manager of Ecobank Tamale, Issifu Adam, also commended the organisers for creating a platform that allows the bank to engage directly with clients, promote its services, and strengthen customer relationships.
