Kwadwo Safo, founder of the Kristo Asafo Church and the Kantanka Group of Companies. In the now widely circulated video, Kwadwo Safo Akofena is seen greeting family members in a line. However, when he approaches Adwoa Safo for a handshake, she turns away, pointedly ignoring him.

The strained relationship appears to have deepened following the passing of their father on September 11. Shortly after his death, a family statement—reportedly issued under Adwoa Safo’s leadership—advised the public not to engage in any funeral or business dealings with Kwadwo Safo Akofena, asserting he had no authority to represent the family.
