Semper Fi’s unbeaten run in the Division One League came to an end on Sunday as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Golden Kick at the Tuba Astroturf.
After a competitive first half that produced few clear chances, the home side found the breakthrough early in the second period. Shaban Abubakar struck in the 49th minute, finishing off a well-worked move to give Golden Kick the lead.
Despite Semper Fi’s efforts to respond, the hosts defended resolutely and managed the game well to preserve their advantage until the final whistle.
