Bryan Acheampong begins 10-day Ashanti Regional tour

Presidential hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has begun a 10-day working tour of the Ashanti Region as part of his nationwide constituency engagements aimed at energising the party’s grassroots and strengthening unity ahead of the 2028 elections.

A statement from Dr. Acheampong’s Communications Directorate said the tour marks the continuation of his nationwide outreach, which has already seen him visit more than 76 constituencies across the country, including nine in the Ashanti Region.

According to the statement, Dr. Acheampong’s message of unity, discipline, and grassroots empowerment has so far “resonated powerfully” with party members, reigniting confidence and focus across NPP structures nationwide.

The Ashanti Region — often described as the political heartbeat of the NPP — will host Dr. Acheampong and his campaign team for the next 10 days. The second leg of his regional engagement will include:

  • Town hall meetings with youth and community leaders,

  • Stakeholder dialogues with traditional authorities, clergy, and party executives, and

  • Media interactions to communicate his vision and address key issues.

The Communications Directorate noted that Dr. Acheampong’s ongoing tour is part of a broader movement to unify the party, promote internal discipline, and empower grassroots structures as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.

“Dr. Acheampong’s bold leadership style — decisive, inclusive, and forward-looking — is winning hearts and strengthening the party’s foundation,” the statement said.

The Directorate also encouraged party members, media houses, and the public to follow updates from the tour on Dr. Acheampong’s official social media platforms.
