Presidential hopeful and Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has appointed Charles Cromwell Nanabanyin Onuawonto Bissue as the Campaign Administrator for his presidential campaign, with immediate effect.
The announcement was made in a memorandum issued to all campaign team members on October 14, outlining Bissue’s mandate to bring structure, discipline, and strategic coordination to the campaign machinery as the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer contest heats up.
According to the memo, Bissue will oversee the day-to-day administration of campaign operations, streamline communication between directorates, and ensure that information flow within the team remains efficient and consistent.
He will also be responsible for handling all official correspondence, managing documentation, and processing reports and submissions intended for Mr. Agyapong. “All external campaign correspondence must now be routed through the Campaign Administrator’s office. Similarly, all internal communications, reports, or documents intended for my attention must first be submitted to him,” the directive stated.
Mr. Agyapong expressed strong confidence in Bissue’s ability to enhance the professionalism of the campaign, describing his appointment as a step towards ensuring greater discipline, cohesion, and focus.” He urged all members of the campaign team to fully cooperate with the new administrative structure.
Charles Bissue is a seasoned political strategist and an experienced administrator within NPP circles. He previously served as a Presidential Staffer and Secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM), where he played key roles in policy coordination and stakeholder engagement.
His appointment is expected to inject renewed energy and organizational efficiency into Ken Agyapong’s campaign as he intensifies his bid for the NPP’s presidential slot.
