The family feud surrounding legendary highlife musician Daddy Lumba has taken a dramatic turn, as his sisters — Ernestina Fosu and Fasutina Fosu — have joined forces with his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, to demand the immediate arrest of socialite Odo Broni and media personality Roman Fada.
According to close family sources, the trio accuse Odo Broni and Roman Fada of defaming Daddy Lumba’s reputation through a series of “malicious and false” online statements and interviews that have caused deep embarrassment to the family and fans of the musician.
The Fosu sisters, in a joint statement with Akosua Serwaa, described the recent outbursts from Odo Broni as “a calculated attempt to tarnish Lumba’s legacy”, insisting that enough is enough.
“We have tolerated the lies and insults for far too long. It’s time for the law to take its course. Daddy Lumba deserves peace and respect for all he has contributed to Ghanaian music,” Ernestina Fosu declared.
They further accused Roman Fada of amplifying defamatory content through his platform, thereby fueling a wave of online attacks and speculation around the private life of the award-winning musician.
Akosua Serwaa, Lumba’s estranged wife, who has recently reemerged in the public eye following revelations about their marriage, is said to be working closely with the family’s legal representatives to file a formal complaint with the police and pursue criminal and civil actions against the duo.
“Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom to destroy others. We are calling for justice,” Serwaa reportedly told insiders familiar with the case.
This latest twist comes just days after Odo Broni obtained a court injunction barring Oheneba Media from discussing her — a move that has stirred further controversy in Ghana’s entertainment and gossip circles.
Industry observers say the intensifying dispute between the Lumba family and Odo Broni could soon become one of the biggest celebrity legal battles in recent memory, potentially exposing hidden family tensions and long-held grudges.
