Ghana to the USA; We Move Together- Alexander Djiku says after Ghana qualifies to 2026 World Cup

Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team defender Alexander Djiku has expressed how proud and how grateful he is about Ghana’s qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Djiku shared these feelings after Ghana beat Comoros 1-0 to officially seal its place in next year’s tournament which will be co-hosted by the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

Spartak Moscow’s Djiku played out the entire duration in the win over Comoros and was happy the Black Stars completed the job to become the fifth African nation to qualify to the 2026 World Cup.

“So proud and grateful. We’re going to the 2026 World Cup. Big thank you to everyone who’s been with us from day one.”

Ghana has qualified to the World Cup five times in six straight editions of the competition; Black Stars head coach Otto Addo managed to lead the Stars to the World Cup for the second time.
