Best law school graduate Latifa with her father ABA Fuseini
The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has extended her congratulatory message to the overall best student of the 2025 Ghana Law School graduation, Latifa Teiya Fuseini.
She also commended Latifa’s father, former Member of Parliament for the Sagnarigu Constituency, Alhaji A.B.A. Fuseini, for his unwavering support that contributed to his daughter’s remarkable success.
“Amazing congratulations to the beautiful and brilliant Latifa Teiya Fuseini. The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. A chip off the old block. The ever-eloquent A.B.A. Fuseini and his daughter, who was not just called to the bar but was called up as the best student,” she wrote on Facebook on October 12, 2025.

Gomashie went on to use Latifa’s success story to advise the youth in Ghana to seek guidance not only from their biological parents but from anyone older who can offer support and wisdom.
The minister encouraged young people to be diligent and to leverage social media as a tool for discovering opportunities.
“Dear youth, honour thy father and mother, not only your biological parents but anyone who saw the sun before you so your days on earth may be long. Your actions and inactions reflect where you come from, who raised you, and what you have been able to achieve for yourself. With a father like our big brother, she had the platform, but she also worked very, very hard to become the overall best student,” she noted.
Dzifa added that, “What is your scorecard today? Hopefully not just a social media ‘hustler.’ Take advantage of the opportunities social media offers to change your story but by all means, aim for more. Start today! I am rooting for you. I am praying for you.”
