Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has raised alarm over the escalating tensions between Members of Parliament (MPs) and District Chief Executives (DCEs) in the region, warning that these rivalries are severely hindering development efforts.
Speaking to journalists in Kumasi on Monday, October 6, 2025, Dr. Amoakohene emphasized that the strained relationships between the two groups of local leaders are slowing down the execution of critical projects and disrupting essential coordination at the district level.
