Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II
The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, lead a group of dignitaries to participate in the National Sanitation Day exercise in Accra.
The National Sanitation Day is observed nationwide on the first Saturday of every month where Ghanaians come together for communal work, cleaning the streets, drains and ensuring their communities are free from filth.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II was joined by Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo and Mayor Michael Kpakpo Allotey to keep the city clean.

The activity, which brought together residents, community leaders, and volunteers across Accra, formed part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental hygiene and civic responsibility.
In a video sighted on social media, netizens commended King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II for participating in the National Sanitation Day exercise to clean the city and keep it free it from filth.
The National Sanitation Day was instituted in 2014 under the first tenure of president John Dramani Mahama.
