Asiedu Nketiah leaves for Japan

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has departed Accra today, October 3, 2025, for a working trip to Japan.

Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, who also serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GHAPOHA), is leading a delegation of the Authority to participate in the Annual General Meeting of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) scheduled in Kobe, Japan.

The delegation is expected to return to Ghana on October 12, 2025.

In his absence, NDC Vice Chairman, Comrade Awudu Sofo Azorka, will act as National Chairman of the party.

This was contained in a statement issued in Accra on Friday, October 3, and signed by the NDC’s Director of Communications, Kakra Essamuah.
