2025/26 Ghana Premier League: Week 4 Match Preview – Medeama vs Nations FC – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Scores, Results

Medeama SC will be aiming to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Karela United when they host Nations FC at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on Sunday.

The defeat in Tamale ended their early momentum after back-to-back victories had given Ibrahim Tanko’s side a solid start to the season. Despite the result, Tanko remains upbeat, stressing the importance of securing all three points at home.

“Last weekend’s result was a setback but looking at the performance, in terms of possession, how we played, created chances, definitely it’s not a setback,” Tanko said. “All three points are important, especially at home, and that’s what we are working on.”

Nations FC, meanwhile, will also be seeking a response. After a strong start to the campaign, they have dropped five points in their last two games, including a draw with Samartex last weekend. Their defence has been a concern, conceding in each of their last four away matches.

Head-to-head, Medeama hold the advantage with three wins from their last five meetings. The most recent clash came in August 2025, when Medeama won 2-0 in a friendly.

Medeama currently sit 3rd on six points, while Nations are 5th with four points.
