Bridget Otoo a presidential staffer responsible for government communications
A presidential staffer responsible for government communications has taken a swipe at MultiChoice Ghana, regarding its earlier FAQ that contradicts the announcement of a deal, which went viral on social media.
It may be recalled that Sam George, on Monday, September 29, 2025, announced that DSTV subscribers in Ghana would enjoy between 33% and 50% more value on their subscriptions, stating on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, following an agreement between the ministry and MultiChoice.
Hours following Sam George’s press briefing, a document attributed to MultiChoice surfaced online, contradicting the minister’s statement.

Details of the document revealed that the enhanced packages are part of a promotion scheduled to end in December 2025.
Following this development, Bridget Otoo, in a post shared via X on October 1, 2025, lambasted the management of MultiChoice Ghana, describing them as “terrible”.
Bridget Otoo explained that the management had an ulterior motive behind their Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) that surfaced online.
“I mean DSTV management is terrible. You let people abuse @samgeorgegh with your so-called “FAQ,” she said.

Bridget Otoo further noted that DSTV’s apology would not erase the fact that the minister had been abused on social media, adding that MultiChoice’s management anticipated the online ridicule.
“The reaction you got is exactly what you wanted. If you had any good intentions, this statement should have been the first thing out b4 your “FAQ,” she added.
