Titus Glover accuses NDC of PR stunts, demands delivery on promises

Former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, has criticised the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), accusing the party of prioritising public relations gimmicks over delivering on its campaign promises.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem morning show, Mr Glover said the NDC had failed to follow through on key pledges, including support for cocoa farmers, the much-touted 24-hour economy initiative, and the fight against illegal mining.

“They made so much noise about the 24-hour economy, but apart from launching it, what has been done? Cocoa farmers are still waiting for the support they promised. On galamsey, nothing has been done, and on top of that, they are bombarding us with new taxes,” he stated.

He further questioned the party’s handling of the anti-LGBTQ bill, accusing the NDC of creating “needless noise” without providing clarity on the matter.

Mr Glover urged the NDC to “stop the PR” and focus on addressing the pressing needs of Ghanaians rather than staging publicity stunts.
