Asibey who previously held the position of National Circles Council Public Relations Officer (PRO) on Friday confirmed his decision to step down from the race, citing personal and pertinent factors for this step.
He was in the race with Solomon Ofosu-Ware and Benjamin Obeng Sekyere.
“I write to formally notify you of my decision to withdraw my candidacy from the upcoming elections for the position of chairman for the National Circles Council of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC”
