EISA accredits Koku Anyidoho as a certified international elections observer

Under the auspices of ECOWAS, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, Founder and CEO of the Mills Institute for Transformational Leadership Development, has been certified as an International Elections Observer and an Elections Analyst.

In the Ivorian capital, Abidjan, at the Noom Hotel, the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Development in Africa (EISA), held a one week training session for 14 participants from the ECOWAS sub region.

The training took place between the 11-14 of August, 2025.

Participants came from Ghana (3), Gambia (3), Senegal (3), Nigeria (1), Togo (1), Benin (1), Burkina Faso (1) and Liberia (1).

Carefully chosen by ECOWAS via a rigorous selection process, the participants were given detailed training on the whole gamut of Elections Management and how to observe elections as Core Team Members as well as Long Term Observers.

Koku Anyidoho has been working with ECOWAS as an elections observer for the past 5 years and has observed elections in, Guinea Conakry, Benin, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Senegal.

EISA is based in Johannesburg, South Africa , and focuses on promoting good governance and building sustainable democracies across the African continent.
