Ghana’s Ambassador-Designate to South Korea, Kojo Choi, has revealed that he is fluent in several Ghanaian local languages, having lived in the country since the age of 14.
In an interview on Channel One TV’s Face to Face on Tuesday, August 12, Choi said he speaks Twi and Frafra, and has some knowledge of Ewe.
During the conversation, host Umaru Sanda Amadu challenged him to demonstrate his language skills. Choi responded by speaking a few words in Twi, showcasing his familiarity with the language.
Choi’s comments come amid public interest in his background, following his nomination to represent Ghana in South Korea.
