The Ghana Railway Company Limited has announced a temporary suspension of the Accra–Tema shuttle service, effective Tuesday, August 12, 2025, due to technical hitches.
In a public notice issued on August 12, the company said the service will resume in full on Monday, August 18, 2025.
“The general public is hereby informed that due to some technical hitches, the running of the Accra–Tema shuttle service has been temporarily suspended today, Tuesday, 12th August 2025,” the statement read.
The company apologised for the inconvenience, adding: “Any inconvenience caused to our cherished passengers/customers is deeply regretted.”
