The Ghana Railway Company Limited has announced the temporary suspension of the Accra–Tema shuttle service, effective Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
In a press statement sighted by GhanaWeb Business, the company attributed the suspension to technical hitches.
“The general public is hereby informed that due to some technical hitches, the running of the Accra–Tema shuttle service has been temporarily suspended today, Tuesday, 12th August 2025,” the statement read.
The company noted that operations are expected to resume on Monday, August 18, 2025.
The Ghana Railway Company Limited apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused.
