A Catholic priest has slammed popular Ghanaian pastor, Samuel Henry, popularly known as Prophet Roja, following the Ghana Armed Forces helicopter crash.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the priest condemned the prophecy and explained why Dr Edward Omane Boamah ignored it.
He accused Prophet Roja of using divination and sorcery and said his prophecies were not from God.
“Roja should be careful over there. He’s a small boy. This is not a prohecy, a prophecy must have a way out,” the priest said in a video that has since gone viral.
The priest’s comments come after eight people, including Ghana’s Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah and Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation Minister, Dr Murtala Muhammed, passed on in a ghastly helicopter crash.
The sad event occurred on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, when the eight were on their way to a programme in Obuasi.
Before the incident, Prophet Roja asked who the Defence Minister was during one of his prophecies and asked his congregants or anyone close to him to share the video with the Minister or ask him to contact him.
Although he did not disclose the reason for his request, it was evident that he was about to deliver a doom prophecy concerning the Minister, as he had done on many occasions in the past. Unfortunately, the late Minister did not meet with him before the tragic incident occurred.
Speaking on why Dr Omane Boamah may have ignored the Prophet’s request to reach out to him, the priest noted that Dr Omane Boamah was a Catholic and did not believe Prophet Roja’s claim.
