Popular Ghanaian pastor, Samuel Henry, widely known as Prophet Roja, has released a prophecy concerning the upcoming Akwatia By-Elections.
Constituents of Akwatia will soon go to the polls to elect a Member of Parliament to represent them following the tragic demise of their MP, Ernest Yaw Kumi.
Ernest Yaw Kumi passed away on July 7, 2025, after he reportedly fell ill and was rushed to the hospital.
Both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have selected their representatives for the upcoming polls.
The NPP endorsed Solomon Kwame Asumadu, Chief Executive Officer of Owuo Mining Company, and the NDC endorsed Lawyer Bernard Bediako Baidoo to represent them.
On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, both parties, residents and other parties will go to the polls to elect a replacement for Ernest Yaw Kumi.
Ahead of the elections, Prophet Roja has predicted a winner. He noted in a recent interview that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would win the elections. However, he issued a directive to the New Patriotic Party that could overturn he results of the by-elections.
