A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) military helicopter crashed Thursday afternoon, August 7, in the Mwihoko area of Githurai, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Witnesses reported hearing a loud explosion around 3:10 p.m., followed by thick smoke billowing from a nearby thicket.
Emergency teams, including firefighters, the Kenya Red Cross, and KDF officers, quickly rushed to the scene.
