André Ayew (forward) joined Le Havre AC in November 2023
French Ligue side Le Havre AC has confirmed the departure of Ghana international André Ayew.
The 35-year-old initially joined the side in November 2023 as a free agent after leaving Nottingham Forest.
The former Black Stars captain helped the side to survive relegation.
However, on 4 October 2024, the former Olympique Marseille star rejoined Le Havre after his contract had expired in the summer by signing a one-year deal.
Ahead of the 2025/26 French football season, Le Havre, in a statement, has confirmed the exit of the U-20 World Cup winner.
“Thank you, AndrĂ©. Monster of combativeness, AndrĂ© Ayew was an example for all Heaven and Navy, he who so well understood the HAC and its audience, Le Havre and its inhabitants. Good luck, AndrĂ©!” a club statement said.
Andre Ayew made a total of 49 appearances for the side, scoring nine times.
Ayew has played for nine different clubs, including FC Lorient, Arles-Avignon, Swansea, West Ham, Fenerbahçe, Al-Sadd, and Nottingham Forest.
Now a free agent, Ayew will hope to secure a move to his tenth club.
