I don’t know my father

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s aide, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has opened up about a very private aspect of his life, claiming he never met his biological father.

Aboagye talked candidly about the emotional journey of growing up without a father figure and how that absence influenced his youth on Channel One TV’s The Upside Down Show.

“I never met my dad. I don’t know what happened, but at some point in my life, I had to ask,” he recounted. “The environment in which I grew up, everybody was a child’s parent. But I think at a point, I remember asking,.” citinewsroom.com quotes him as saying.

He talked about how it hurt to go to school functions where his classmates were with their parents, especially their dads, but he was by himself.

“It only happened that the man who is supposed to be my father did not take responsibility when I was born. So, she single-handedly took up my growing,” Aboagye shared, referring to his mother, who raised him on her own.

The conversation with his mother brought clarity, though it came with emotional weight. He said it wasn’t until late 2024 that he encountered any information about his biological father.

“It was about last year in August or September that I met his obituary poster,” he revealed.
