Ghanaian rapper Amerado has responded to criticism regarding his public inquiry about the removal of his interviews from media personality Delay’s YouTube channel. On June 29, 2025,
Amerado posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) featuring himself and Delay (Deloris Frimpong Manso) with the caption: “Your interviews with me are no more on your channel. How did we get here?”
The post sparked significant online debate, with many users suggesting the artist should have addressed the matter privately given their past rapport. Critics highlighted the duo’s collaborative history, including joint projects and public appearances, arguing the public callout breached personal etiquette.
Amerado countered on June 30, asserting the appropriateness of his approach: “Do you think a public interview on a public platform is a private matter? If you can’t bear public information, don’t even think of private.” He maintained that content created for public consumption warrants public discussion when altered or removed.
Neither party has disclosed the reason for the interviews’ deletion. Delay, known for her “The Delay Show,” has not publicly addressed the incident. The exchange underscores ongoing tensions between personal relationships and digital transparency in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
